• Speaking Tour for Association of Canadian Clubs
  October 2006 - April 2007
  
  October is Women's History Month in Canada, and Merna began a nine-city tour across Canada to share stories of great Canadian women. Thanks to the support of the Association of Canadian Clubs, she travelled to Saskatoon, Prince Albert and Moose Jaw in October. Then Lindsay, Ontario in November. Merna will also be visiting clubs in Victoria, Revelstoke, Kelowna, Calgary and Edmonton.

  Thanks to the generosity of Telus, Merna Forster was a special guest at the annual gala of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs in British Columbia. Each of the three hundred guests at the event received a gift bag which included a copy of Merna's book 100 Canadian Heroines: Famous and Forgotten Faces, courtesy of Telus. Following the banquet, the author autographed books for gala participants.
